"If you play the Ukulele and are looking for a chance to join with other happy groups or single players then this may be for you."
The Ukulele Hootenanny is at Wallaga Lake Holiday Park and Camel Rock Brewery on Saturday, October 5 with two shows.
"We are running the first show from 1pm to 3.30pm to allow those who are unable to travel at night a chance to join in the fun and donate to this fantastic local charity.
Ms Hammerton went on to say that she was liaising with Bermagui Bus Service to provide transport too and from the township for both shows.
Raffle prizes have been donated by the local holiday parks with a first prize of $500 accommodation, vouchers and gift packs to be won.
"All proceeds from the event will be donated directly to Can Assist where every dollar remains in the Bega Valley Shire area assisting people financially who are affected by cancer," Ms Hammerton said.
Members of Bermagui's "Ukalips" ukulele group will also be collecting donations from patrons at the restaurant on the day.
Raffle tickets are on sale in Bermagui from Wednesday and will be drawn at the "Hootenanny" on October 4.
