A Far South Coast RFS spokesman said Dalmeny and Narooma RFS crews responded to a structure fire at about 2.30pm at Goolara Avenue, Dalmeny.
RFS Eurobodalla Group South 1's spokesman said there was a "very minor fire" in a residential property front yard.
He said a car parked in the yard "copped a little bit of damage".
He said paramedics were called and there was some smoke inhalation and a cut to the resident's hand, but "nothing major".
Meanwhile, Narooma Fire and Rescue responded to a bushfire on the Princes Highway, Narooma, near Bertie Martin Drive.
The spokesman said there was fantastic cooperation between all emergency services.
He reminded people to be "extremely careful with fire" and to develop a fire plan, especially with warmer weather on its way.
He hoped more people could volunteer for RFS with "all brigades running short".
He said it was the worst fire season in years.
