The couple who rescued the couple of retired pacer horses, Buddy and Red, have started “Narooma Horse & Carriage” to help pay for the upkeep of the horses on their Corunna property.
So when they decided to get married it was only natural to use the gentle giants and the carriage, which you may have seen being driven around the district with paying customers over the recent school holidays.
It was a spectacular vintage wedding with the horses Buddy and Red and the carriage on Saturday at Carters Beach headland with local photographer Jon Poyner and his daughter Tess taking the snaps.
Attending were Red and Buddy, then parents of bride Lesley and Steve Moody, bride and groom Sophia and Phil May. Mum Maureen (Pat) May, best man and bridesmaid Tim and Keri-Anne Hayes, then Shaun and Melissa Joseph. Photo by Jon Poyner
