The Expo will be held at the Dalmeny Bowling Club on Friday, November 17 from 10am to 12noon. Experts on aged care assessments, wills and Powers of Attorney, home care services and residential aged care will demystify aged care planning and provide personalised advice.
It’s the first Aged Care Planning Expo to be held in the Dalmeny area and is an initiative by local community-owned aged care provider, IRT Group.
IRT has four Lifestyle and Care Communities in the Eurobodalla, provides IRT at Home services to older people in their own homes, and offers a Wellness Program at IRT Dalmeny for people living at home with dementia.
“Planning for your future care or support needs, or those of a loved one, can be really confusing and scary,” said IRT Care CEO Jason Malone.
“We want to provide the Dalmeny community with access to expert information and advice, and experienced people who can help to answer their questions.
“The Expo is also an opportunity have a cuppa with other local people who are in the same boat. Caring for a loved one with high care needs or dementia can be really isolating, so we’d love to see local carers get together and enjoy a morning out, while exploring what government-funded support services may be available.”
Anyone interested in attending the Expo should phone IRT on 134 478 to book their spot. Limited places available.
