Local woodwork club, the Narooma Woodies is participating in the 22nd annual Tilba Woodshow on the Saturday and Sunday of the June long weekend.
The wood show is organised by the Combined Woodwork Clubs of the Far South Coast. Members of the Narooma Woodies have spent many months making items for the show.
The wood show is held in the two halls of the Central Tilba Community. In the smaller hall an exhibition of exquisite items made by local wood workers are displayed with members of the public given the opportunity to vote for the People's Choice award.
In the main hall there will be a large range of wood work items for sale made by members of the clubs and their invited guests.
There is also a raffle with nearly a thousand dollars of woodworking items as prizes. The show has been well supported with prizes being donated by Hare and Forbes Machinery House, Makita Australia and Bunnings Batemans Bay.
The Tilba Woodshow is open from 9am to 4pm on Saturday, June 10 and 10am to 3pm on Sunday, June 11.
